  • Age. It’s most likely to affect the age between 15 and 30 years old or older than 60.
  • Family history. Genes play a major role in affecting. It can increase the risk by 30%

The commonly seen symptoms are.

Bloody diarrhoea

Puss in stool

Pain in stomach

Not feeling hungry

Weight loss

Fatigue

Fever

Dehydration

Joint pain

Anemia

Feeling like haven’t completely emptied your colon even after using the bathroom

Not being able to hold stool

Pain in eyes especially in the bright lights

Waking up at night to in urge to go bathroom

CURE AND TREATMENTS

Diet – Diet plays a major role in maintaining and prevent from worsening the situation. Some foods can make the symptoms worse.

Consume bland food – Such as Milk and other dairy products, Potatoes, Fruit juices and vegetable juices (avoid citrus and tomato)
