menstrual cycle

To have a healthy menstrual cycle firstly you need to know. What is the menstrual cycle…not gonna tell you here haha! Just go and check out our previous post on the menstrual cycle. That’ll give you guys some closure.

Now you must have heard from gynics or other people to exercise regularly to improve your reproductive system and to maintain a proper menstrual cycle. Well, you should listen to what they say because that is true.

The food that we eat plays the most vital role in having a healthy menstrual cycle. As it needs to be broken down on time and digested. The main cause for PCOS, PCOD or period cramps is nothing but the food we take and the lifestyle we follow.

Now coming to the proper digestion of food I’ll suggest some yoga asanas beneficial for women in particular.
Why only yoga asanas and not any other form of workout?because I am a yogi and a Sanatana who is trying to become like a man mentioned in our various religious textbooks who not only invented yoga but also practised it.
The most renowned deity and practitioner of yoga known to this date is our Hindu god ‘Yogiraj Shri Krishna Bhagwan Ji’. There are many forms of yoga as described in ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Gita’ by lord Krishna but our only focus, for now, is on practising the third step of ‘Ashtanga yoga’ (8 steps of yoga) which is ‘Asanas’.
