Chronic disease is a health-related problem that is persistent or lasts for a long time or the effects of the disease come with time. If a disease lasts for more than 3 months then it becomes chronic. Several chronic diseases are common in people such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, cancer, asthma, arthritis, Alzheimer’s, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Ulcerative Colitis, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and thyroid.
More than 50% of the population world’s population is suffering from a chronic illness where 150 million are only in the U.S. and 41% of the total population of India Living with a chronic illness. It requires the patience of a saint, the resilience of a warrior, and the persistence of a champion to hold and control it.
